Position: Sales Engineer

Job Duties:

  • Make product (hardware/software) demonstrations to provide potential customers with details about the features and capabilities Sentek products

  • Engage customers, understand the customer needs and identify the solutions to the customer with our product offering

  • Prepare RFI, RFQ and RFP responses for potential customers and management team

  • Make sales and technical presentations to potential customers, via both web presentations and on-site presentations, as required

  • Support existing product installations (post sale)

  • Support new product installations (including installation)

  • Organize warranty and customer support record keeping

  • Provide support to management team in the sales process as the technical product resource

  • Provide the first line of support to existing customers

  • Act as product expert within the organization

  • Travel up to 30%

  • BS, MS or equivalent in Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • Hands-on mechanical and software skills are a must!

  • Must be friendly, social, presentable and professional

Position: Application Engineer

Description of Duties:
Responsible for mechanical components development including designing and validating the new testing fixture and vibration testing equipment. Specific job duties include:

  1.  Develop, improve and execute installation and operation procedures of vibration control system products including those for permanent magnetic / electrodynamic / hydraulic shakers, slip tables, and head expenders.

  2. Troubleshoot vibration test systems including both hardware and software, which may involve hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic sub-systems such as vibration controller, accelerometers and amplifiers.

  3. Develop, plan and perform vibration (Sine, Random, SoR, RoR) and shock tests, evaluate test results, generate test reports by interacting with customers for test requirements.

  4. Perform shock and vibration test fixture design and analysis for the DUT, provide guidance for fixture fabrication.

  5. Analyze vibration or noise issues for specific customer application using vibration testing and modal analysis.

  6. Develop and test alternate designs and testing methods to improve feasibility, efficiency and explore possible new applications.

  7. Analyze preliminary engineering-design concepts of major products to satisfy operational needs by planning and defining resources needed to maintain new and existing equipment, perform routine planned and predictive maintenance.

Requirements: MS in Mechanical Engineering or related plus 2 years experience.
