Lin Fu, Technician at Crystal Instruments
Crystal Instruments welcomes Lin Fu as one of our new Technicians. Lin Fu will be helping with the testing of vibration controllers and dynamic signal analysis systems, in addition to CI's EDM (Engineering Data Management) software for post processing.
I graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Did a couple of interesting projects throughout the educational years, including a senior project design and build “A Cell Phone Audio Controlled Parking Meter”, with the knowledge of creating analog filters to attenuate unwanted signal frequencies while retaining the desired signal frequency. Soon after graduation, my instinct told me that instead of staying with fewer opportunities; I should go explore the unknown. Therefore I decided to come to California – Silicon Valley for a life changing experience. I figured I have an “always wanting to try something different” attitude. So while I still could, I gave myself a chance to try some different fields other than engineering. So before becoming a member of CI, I’ve had some interesting work experiences such as a working as a CITIBANK call center representative dealing with a variety customers and working as a Quality Assurance technician at a mobile gaming company.
I enjoy fitness to keep a healthy life style in the summer. I snowboard during winter time. I play pool because I enjoy calculating angles. I recently picked up a new interest of studying the Buddhism philosophy to practice my enlightenment. Life is good.
