Crystal Instruments Sponsors 2019 SAE Noise and Vibration Conference

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) held the 2019 Noise and Vibration Conference in Grand Rapids Michigan this year.  The conference, which is a biennial event, took place from June 10th to the 13th and drew roughly 1,000 engineers focused on NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) and sound quality measurements. Crystal Instruments was proud to take part in sponsoring the conference this year.

NVH and sound quality are critical quantities that effect the general satisfaction of the automotive customer.  This satisfaction ranges from rider comfort, which includes buzz squeak and rattle testing, to the lesser known product durability and reliability testing performed in the vibration test lab.

Due to the focus on NVH industry, Crystal Instruments was an avid participant of the conference.  “This is an important conference for Crystal Instruments to attend since it centers around so much of what our products excel at…”, James Zhuge, President of Crystal Instruments.

The conference was a success at promoting collaboration amongst NVH professionals through the use of the newly implemented round table discussions with industry professionals.  As a result, Crystal Instruments connected with a handful of professionals who are embarking on new projects in the vibration testing field.
