Crystal Instruments Hosts Successful 2025 International Sales Meeting in Sitges, Barcelona
Crystal Instruments wrapped up a highly successful International Sales Meeting at the end of March, bringing together 35 sales managers and business leaders from over 27 countries across the EMEA region. The event took place in the stunning coastal town of Sitges, just outside Barcelona, Spain.
Held every two years, this event is a cornerstone for Crystal Instruments and our EMEA partners to connect, exchange insights, and explore the latest innovations in vibration testing technology. Over 2.5 dynamic days, attendees experienced product demos, strategic discussions, and hands-on sessions provided by our hardware and software experts.
Some exciting developments and projects were also presented to the meeting participants. Our CEO Dr. James Zhuge explained the actual situation regarding the development of our three hardware platforms. The concept of a platform is defined as a specific hardware architecture and all its associated software.
In addition to our well-known CoCo and Spider platforms, the new Ruby platform concept (Wireless sensor for Vibration Signal Measurement) was presented to the audience.
Crystal Instruments also provided insightful information about the patented time stamp technology integrated with the GRS (Ground Recorder System) in addition to presenting the new Luma-600 Laser Vibrometer. This high precision, single point laser vibrometer is designed for seamless integration with a Spider series dynamic measurement system and EDM software.
Key highlights from the event included:
Introduction of the new Ruby Platform – a wireless sensor system for vibration signal measurement.
Launch of the Luma-600 Laser Vibrometer – a precision instrument designed for seamless integration with the Spider system.
Updates of CoCo and Spider Platforms – including new features and applications.
Overview of our patented GRS timestamp technology – supporting synchronized high-accuracy data capture.
Additional sessions covered advancements in:
Vibration Control Systems (single to 3-axis)
High-channel-count data acquisition
Portable analyzers (CoCo-70X, 80X, 90X) for predictive maintenance
Structural testing from hammer impact to large-scale GVT
The final day was dedicated to structural testing training, where partners deepened their knowledge in modal testing, correlation analysis, and more.
The session concluded with platform development updates shared by Dr. James Zhuge, with a renewed emphasis on CI’s commitment to innovation and global collaboration.
This meeting was a valuable opportunity for learning, networking, and aligning future goals. Thank you to everyone who made it a success—we look forward to seeing you again at the next International Sales Meeting!
