Crystal Instruments’ Spider-80X is widely used to perform seismic testing. The distributed architecture and Black Box mode allows users flexibility in testing conditions. The Spider-80X is also excellent at performing Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) control, a general requirement used for replicating particular time histories in seismic testing. Lastly, the Spider-80X’s ability to control multiple shakers as required for many seismic tests is a significant advantage.
