In 2010, Crystal Instruments introduced the fourth generation of vibration controllers, the Spider-81 and Spider-81B. Through continuous revisions in the past years, these flagship models have improved and evolved into the most reliable vibration controller offered in the market. Now in 2018, Crystal Instruments is proud to announce a new edition of the Spider-81 and Spider-81B.
Outfitted with a more ruggedized enclosure to combat harsher environments and labs, the hardware retains its strong existing features: a DSP centralized architecture, scalable up to 512 channels, time synchronization, up to 4 outputs, internal storage space, LCD display, high reliability and accuracy.
The new Spider-81 combines powerful performance with high quality to offer a higher standard of vibration control. The indented design in the back protects the BNC connectors. We are also pleased to offer an elegant and updated modern look for our Spider-81 series.
Patented dual-ADC technology combined with improved hardware components extends the dynamic range of the new Spiders to 160 dB. The noise floor level is much lower now.
