Crystal Instruments is preparing for two major industry events in August 2026: the Vibration Institute Annual Training Conference (VIATC) and the 40th Annual Small Satellite Conference. These conferences bring together professionals from the two distinct but closely connected fields of machinery vibration and reliability, and small satellite development.

At both events, the Crystal Instruments team will be available to discuss advanced solutions for dynamic data acquisition, vibration analysis, structural testing, machine condition monitoring, and environmental qualification.

VIATC 2026: Advancing Vibration Analysis and Machine Reliability

Crystal Instruments will exhibit at VIATC 2026, taking place August 5–7, with pre-conference workshops beginning August 4.

Organized by the Vibration Institute, VIATC brings together vibration analysts, reliability professionals, engineers, instructors, and industry leaders for technical education and professional development. The conference includes expert-led sessions, practical case studies, advanced training opportunities, and an exposition featuring innovations in vibration diagnostics, condition monitoring, and reliability technology.

Small Satellite Conference: Supporting Mission Success Through Testing

Later in August, Crystal Instruments will attend the 40th Annual Small Satellite Conference, held August 23–26 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Visitors can meet with Matt Chen, Ali Farrokhian, and Matthew King at booth 638 during the conference. Our cofounder Justin Tang will also be attending the conference.

The 2026 conference theme, “The Clouds Above the Clouds,” celebrates 40 years of collaboration within the small satellite community. The program will explore the technologies driving modern satellite constellations, including onboard processing, high-speed space networking, ground infrastructure, launch availability, and the systems required to support increasingly complex missions.

As small satellites become more capable and mission-critical, comprehensive structural and environmental testing is essential. Spacecraft and their components must withstand the dynamic environments associated with transportation, launch, stage separation, deployment, and operation in orbit.
